5 out of 5 stars Very Helpful Cruise Guide   July 9, 2000

This book provides a great guide for people on cruise ships that port in any of the following islands: Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Genada, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, Nevis, St Lucia, St. Maarten / St. Martin, St. Thomas / St. John. It gives you lots of ideas on things that will not be offered by the cruise line as well as self guided tours, shopping info, beach info and much more.

4 out of 5 stars Extremely Helpful!!   October 15, 1999

I bought this book as a reference to use on my cruise on the Carnival Fascination and it was extremely helpful. It gives detailed information on all the islands that cruise ships call to on both the Windward and Leeward side (no info on Mexico, Jamaica, Caymens... ONLY WINDWARD and LEEWARD!!). They actually provide you with other activities you can do on the islands that the ships don't even tell you about. My wif and I went horseback riding on Orient Beach in St. Maarten. The ship has no mention of this, but the book tells you how much, where to call, and how to get there. We were able to do several islands on our own with help from this book. And you can save a lot of money when you avois the ships expensive excursions. A must for anybody sailing the Windward and Leeward islands!!!
