From the supplier: A 'National Underwriter' survey disclosed that property and casualty industry personnel preferred automobiles and airplanes to trains for business travel in 1991. Air travel was preferred by 77% of the reinsurance company executives, 72% of risk managers, 55% of insurer executives and 54% of brokers. Insurance agents had a 52% preference for automobile travel. Employee benefits managers had an equal preference for automobile and air travel, choosing each of them 41% of the time.
