Permanent Passanger, my life on a cruise ship November 22, 2008 We love to cruise and this book was very interesting. Fun to see behind the scenes. Gave this book to the assisant CD on our last cruise and he said he had a waiting list of crew members wanting to read it. Our copy is now a permanent passenger on the Carnival Elation...
That's Entertainment! November 6, 2008 The day Permanent Passenger: My Life on a Cruise Ship showed up, I started reading it thinking it would be a nice weekend read. Well, a couple of hours later, there I sat, on the last page and begging for more! This book is great, especially for seasoned cruisers, the things you think are going on are...and then some! I don't want to spoil it, so I will leave you with that...but it is a must read for anyone who has cruised, wants to cruise, or plans to cruise.
Permanent Passenger October 6, 2008 Great book! Heard about on Cruise Critic message board and with one click I ordered it. Very interesting especially is you have cruised before. Next week will be our 14th cruise!!
Great Book! September 30, 2008 I have been in the Cruise and Travel Industry for many years. I thoug;ht this was a funny, accurate and very honest account of life on a Cruise ship and how the Cruise Industry works. In addition what I found amazing was his description of how he targeted this job!! This is a great lesson fr anyone how to land a job! This was a really wonderful read. Well organized and just plain fun!!!
GREAT FUN! September 23, 2008 If you are in the cruise industry, a cruiser or simply curious - this is a great, fun read! Pick this up, read the first chapter and you will be hooked. The first part of the book recounts the incredible persistence and pure single focus of the author - "Project Random".
In addition to being funny and light - it is a great testimony to striking out to accomplish something and letting nothing get in your way.
