4 out of 5 stars Cute book, goes a little slowly in places   October 7, 2006
This is such a cute book! Papa bear decides to take the family on a wilderness vacation that basically, turns out horribly. Everything that could go wrong does, and in the end, the family just decides to go home. They take a few photos which they laugh hysterically at at the end of the book, but the story falls a little flat in this one. It had the potential of being really funny, but instead gets a little dry in places. Other than that, it's quite cute and bears reading. We liked it in our house, but it just isn't the favorite.

3 out of 5 stars Berenstain Bears by Justina   December 16, 2005
I like in the story how they took pictures of all the bad stuff that happened, that was funny. It just goes to show you their is no place like home!!

4 out of 5 stars The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Vaction   September 28, 2003
In the book The Berenstaain Bears and Too Much Vaction the Bear family sets out for a vation that they think will be the time of their lives. Well it all starts out just fine until they get to their lake side cabin. The lake is all muddy and the cabin looks like a shack, the berrys are sour and there are no fish to be cought. How will the Bears vaction end?? This book was a very good book and i would recremend it for people of all ages. Parents will enjoy reading it to thier kids and their kids will enjoy listening!!

4 out of 5 stars About the Berenstian Bears   October 24, 2002
The Berenstain bears was a fun and good book to read for me. After I read this book it made me think of when my family and I go on vacation. This book might take a child quit a while to read because there where a lot of words on each page but they would like this book. The book was mainly about Papa bear having a good time and the rest of the family not really enjoying not having electricity and relying on the woods for food and supplies. When they finally arieve the place is a mess and the lake was crappy. The first night of sleep did not work out too well with all of the animals making noise. The next day Papa bear had now luck catching fish and there was a big rain storm which gave the family pleanty of reason to go home. The Bears where never so happy to see their tree house. This was a good book nothing special about it just a fimly out on vacation with not much to do.

Berenstain Bears and to much vacation is about when one of our favorite bear families go on a vacation to a mountain cabin. The ad in the paper said it was by crystal lake and came with a rowboat, it did but will this be a wonderful vacation, or a jump in the mud, or maybe a little of both? Find out when you read The Berenstain Bears and To Much Vacation.
