The Lionheart J class got the better of the other J Class racers to win the coveted Boat International Superyacht Regatta Trophy. They performed at their best during the regatta.

This win by Lionheart would give the team a very good boost and encouragement as they had to come from behind to claim the victory. They started the race very badly as the breeze had faded on their side during the first part of Race 1. But, this did not deter the team members, and they sailed with full vigor and consistency to win Race 2. They also gave Svea a tough fight and claimed victory from them. They were able to win the J class, race by staying 3 points clear of Ranger and Velsheda. These two teams were tied at 10 points each.

The J class fleet was indeed the star attraction at the 35thedition of the America’s Cup and the 20 crew members did everything in their might to steer their J-class boats to victory. The cup that Lionheart won is a historic silver cup that dates back to 1872.
